As soon as you have connected your OEE.Boxes to the power supply and network, they start up automatically. With the discovery tool, you have the option of finding your active OEE.Boxes and calling up other tools such as the reporting tool or the integrated web application of the OEE.Box.
First, download the OEE.Box discovery tool from the download page. After downloading and extracting the zip file, you can drag the Discover folder to your desktop. Your PC must be in the same network as the OEE.Box for the discovery tool to work. If this is the case, your OEE.Box will report itself a few seconds after opening the discovery tool and will appear in the list.
Right-clicking on "Hostname" activates the context menu for several useful tools:
- Open in Browser
Here you can access the web application of the OEE.Box, for example to make settings, create orders, manage personnel, view live information from the connected machine. - Reports
Here you can access the reporting tool. With the reporting tool, you can create many different reports and create barcodes for items, orders, downtime reasons, etc.
